Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop is here again and this time it will be held from 21st March to 26th March (2019) in Korea! Asia Pacific Regional Workshop is a regional meeting, workshop and conference held and attended annually by volunteers. This is the location of the conference (https://seoul.intercontinental.com/hub/m/kor/). The regional workshops are carried out by the experienced volunteers for other volunteers to value add their volunteering experience with CISV.
There is also a Junior Conference (JASPARC, for youths 15 to 25 years old) develop and run by our youths from the Asia-Pacific Junior Branch on topics on Diversity, Inclusiveness, Conflict and Resolution and situations and challenges faced by other countries in the region. The conference runs for 3 days and the youths have a blast interacting with youths from other countries.
The youths would also be given an introduction to what CISV stands for and what it entails; being the happy bunch that they are, they would make any discussion and activity a fun learning process!
Meanwhile, the adult volunteers would undergo training such as Risk Management, Chapter Development, Train-the-trainers, Village training, etc. These workshops are facilitated by experienced volunteers and veteran trainers which would help CISVers gain the necessary skills to impact their chapters.
